POS and stock software for phone repair shops in Ghana.
TailoredFlow is point of sale and inventory software for phone, computer and electronics shops in Ghana. A repair shop sells two different things on one ticket — a part off the shelf and the labour to fit it — and the profit only makes sense when the two are recorded differently.
What it does
Phone repair shopA screen replacement is not one product. It is a screen, which you bought and which leaves your stock, plus the work of fitting it, which cost you nothing to hold. Bill them as a single made-up price and the margin on the job is a guess, and the screens quietly run out because nothing recorded them leaving.
TailoredFlow rings the two separately on the same ticket, so the stock stays right and the profit on the job is a real number.
Labour and parts on one ticket
The part comes out of stock at what you paid for it. The labour is a service with a price and no stock behind it. The customer sees one total, and your report sees a job whose cost is the part alone — which is what the margin on a repair actually is.
Know what parts you are holding
Screens, batteries, charging ports and flexes are stock like anything else, with a cost, a count and a reorder level that warns you before a common part runs out mid-job.
Parts that come in by the pack and get used one at a time can be stocked that way, so receiving a box of ten and fitting one both count correctly.
Handsets and accessories too
The shelf side of the shop is ordinary retail: phones, cases, cables and chargers with barcodes, prices and stock counts, sold from the same till as the repairs.
Technicians with their own logins
Staff sign in as themselves and can take payment and ring up jobs without reaching your takings, your cost prices or your reports.
Paid before the device leaves
Take Mobile Money at the counter and the payment is recorded against the ticket. Deposits and part-payments are recorded too, so what is still owed on a job is never a matter of memory.
Who it's for
Built in AccraParts and labour, separately
The screen leaves stock, the fitting doesn't. The margin is real.
Reorder warnings on parts
Know a common screen is running low before a customer is waiting.
Repairs and retail on one till
Handsets, accessories and jobs in the same system.

New: get paid, and get them back
Payments, promotional and discount SMSTake the payment, not just the order
TailoredFlow can now collect the money at checkout. The customer pays by MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money or card, the sale marks itself paid the moment it lands, and we settle it to your account. No prompt from a personal wallet, no screenshot to squint at, nothing to reconcile at closing. It is optional and off by default. See how payments work.
Sell in sub-units, at the price you set
One product can carry as many selling units as the trade needs, and each one can have its own price rather than a multiple of the smallest. Stock is always counted in the smallest unit, so buying in bulk and selling singles can never drift apart, and the unit-mix report tells you in cedis what your bulk deals actually cost you.
Promotional and discount SMS to your own customers
Message the customer list you have been building at the counter, under your own sender ID, with the exact cost shown before you send. A text when a device is ready saves the calls that eat an afternoon. Credit is prepaid with Mobile Money, so a campaign can never quietly run up a bill. More about promotional and discount SMS.
Questions
Ask us anything else on WhatsAppHow do I charge for labour as well as the part?
Ring the part from stock and add the labour as a service line. The part reduces your stock at what it cost you, the labour has no stock behind it, and the customer sees a single total.
Will it tell me when screens are running low?
Yes. Set a reorder level on a part and you are warned while there is still time to buy more, rather than when a customer is already sitting there.
Can I sell phones and accessories from the same till?
Yes. Those are ordinary stock with barcodes and counts, sold alongside repairs from one system and one set of reports.
Does it track a device by IMEI or serial number?
Not as a dedicated field today. Shops that need it record it in the note on the sale, and we would like to hear from you if it is important to how you work.
Try it on your own stock
The trial is the whole product for 30 days. No card, no call required. Load your real items, sell a few things, and see whether the numbers match your shelf at closing.
